Over the years, CII has helped thousands of children and families in America. We have had several
families find us through word of mouth or the website. Families in need of help in one way or another
contact us for assistance in trying to locate beds, furniture, clothes, and toys that can be donated to
make their houses homes. Just in 2010, CII was able to do just that by helping a family get 4 new beds,
bedding, a kitchen set, and Santa Cop took care of Christmas!
In the Northern Illinois Stateline area, CII has worked with companies to get school supplies, back
packs and books to schools and local organizations. CII has delivered over 500 books to various
schools in the Rockford, Ill area for their libraries.
In 2008, CII heard about Rock House Kids in Rockford, Illinois. Rock House helps what are considered
“At Risk” kids. Many of whom live in shelters or in unspeakable circumstances and fly under the radar of
government programs. To understand what Rock House Kids is about click on the picture to the left and
visit their website. Rock House works hard to help these kids and operates under the motto, “If you help
a child today, you won't have to repair an adult tomorrow.”
Another program CII has during the holiday season is Santa Cop. Children have received: winter coats,
toys, and clothes. In addition, the families have received a complete Christmas dinner with all the
trimmings. No child should wake up Christmas morning, the greatest day of the year, feeling forgotten
about. Our Santa Cop teams deliver on Christmas Eve each year and we have helped as many as 200
children at one time. The delivery crews even carry Christmas trees and ornaments as we discovered
over the years that many families could not afford even the simplest things.
CII did not need to try and reinvent what was already being done. CII will increase funding and
assistance to the children of Rock House and Santa Cop as donations from people like you will allow.
Please help make a difference now so we won’t need to fix that adult down the road.
