Meet Pastor Steve Kimbowa
Steve is head of Child Initiative Int. operations
in Uganda. He is located and lives adjacent to
Rock Of Joy In Kampala Uganda.
The children you see on this page are just
some of the more than 300 children Steve and
his wife Gladys care for. That 300 children
does not include his own children which
number 7.
At this point in time Steve as well as all
members of Child Initiative receives no salary
for the work done. Steve does what he does
out of a loving heart for God, the orphans and
children of Uganda and his belief in the vision
of Child Initiative International.
Steve battles the extreme poverty and
problems facing the children of Uganda every
day and is a well trusted friend and family
member.
Your support to Child Initiative International
makes the work Steve does for the children
possible. He shares in my hope to care for as
many children as support allows.

| Before the work was started |
| Mission Trip 2009 brought much work. Painting the orphanage and cleaning it up took place. Here you see our missionaries hard at work. |
After, the house was painted, the children put their hand prints on the front. It allows them to take
ownership and have a sense of home. It is theirs!
